    Default 3.0 V6 cdti EGR . . . . What a pain

    Well I decided to take it off today, to try and clean it and cure the fault
    Well what mission. . . . Every bolt was covered by another bolt so if u wanna do it make sure you have at least a good hour spare

    Mark, yeh but don't think it made any difference as its a lot more of a sealed unit than the one off the 1.9cdti, so it's looking like me ****** having to buy one

    Is it the one you have to drill a small hole in the top and tap it out to clean?

    depends on the year but basically under the engine cover

    looking from front of car its on the top of the engine on the left hand side and has a corrugated flexi pipe attached to it

    very expensive to buy, depending on what the car is doing i would look at the intercooler and associated pipes first, as a nice man told me that the EGR circuit a was faulty, he blanked it off, i found that the intercooler was split, no problem with the EGR at all.

    The older ones are a REAL PAAAAAAAIN to remove...with the newer one (facelift model, Z30DT) it's muuuuuuuuch easier

    at £112 + vat i would by two and make some money, not had a price under £400 new and secondhand i found rocking horse poo easier to find
