Default Retro fitting signum storage in roof

Hey guys, my scrapers have got the roof storage thing that clarkson took the mick out of, basically from the alarm to the 'celery' boxes and sunglasses holder,
    For like 35 pound

Now my signum is facelift and doesn't have this so I'm wondering could it be carefully retrofitted, or is it a new roof lining aswell? Because I bet the linings are rare/expensive so this cheap mod wouldn't end up so cheap lol

Thanks guys any help wud be great

yes m8 it can be retro fitted but you will need another roof lining to suit,i
seen a roof lining on ebay few days ago that you can fit.

i done this change on me last signum and it does look great to have,id
prefer the storage console than looking at a bare roof.

Aw damn, do u guys not think I could use my current lining, I've got access to allsorts of glues and tools (self employed joiner by trade)

I just REALLY don't fancy putting a new lining in lol

I know it sounds rough but I was hoping to cut the shape out with the lining up and just kinda glue it in?

Really want this storage though cause I find the car has limited storage compared to my old one and my glovebox is rammed! Lol thx

thinking about it properly i bet the lining of the older signums is deeper to accept the box, i cant see there being a void on mine it will be tight up surely ~
