    Default K&N Recharge

    How do i go about cleaning and recharging the filter ?

    Just a case of spray their stuff on to the filter and where do i get it

    hi Spenny, what i did was replace it with standard one, showered off the k and n, not hose, use shower, let it dry and then spray oil till it wont hold anymore... then replace...

    And you're not supposed to use very much of it. Not sure how much you used Lizard but the way you describe it you used way too much. Might just be the way your post reads though.

    you can buy the recharge kits from halfords etc...

    I usually use a spare paper filter while i'm cleaning the K&N in order to ensure it's fully dried out & the re oil has soaked in enough... remember do not over oil, the maf won't like it

    i wouldnt use to much of the oil,just a light coating is all thats needed.If you put too much on it will get sucked into the MAF and could damage it
