Yaay, we're back online after getting on for three weeks offline!, following on from this.

Those who have been resident on VVOC in the temporary section they very kindly set up for us will have seen the updates on the issue, and the sheer cack handedness of the hosts!

I'm not even going to try to start to explain it all, suffice to say that we're up and running and we've not lost any threads/posts etc.

Pete has done an absolutely sterling job of sorting a bunch of things out, as well as taking the opportunity to update/add a few extras to the forum and fix some bits that were a bit broke - something the host was supposed to do as part of a maintenance package but never sorted fully!

He's also sorted out an issue with the database and made it much leaner, and hopefully quicker!

You'll see that the garage is now properly sorted, just need to check with Garage Mods if they can approve things now, but you'll see that it's now all displaying completely differently (i.e. properly!) to how it was.

So a huuuuge thanks to Pete as without his help, time and expertise there was no way I would been able to do it on my own.

The activation e-mails are now sorted so any new registrations, or if people change e-mail addresses on their accounts, should now receive the activation e-mail straight away. PM/new post e-mails also sorted, basically all the notification e-mails should be sorted now.

Tapa-talk has been installed and was all working last time Pete checked it after he installed in on the forum. Any issues then let us know.

Probably other things that have been I've forgotten to mention, but if any little problems crop up then let us know and we'll get onto them. There are a whole bunch of improvements/additions etc. that will be ongoing to the forum so keep an eye out for them!

So, welcome home , thanks for your patience and once again a massive thanks to VVOC for the warm hospitality and the superb gesture of adding a section for us whilst we were offline. It certainly won't be forgotten.
