    Question 888/vxr suspension kit

having now had my 1.9cdti 150 elite remapped by 888 i am quite keen on sorting out the wallowy soft handling.
Has anyone on here had the vxr level 1 suspension kit fitted by 888 ?
I believe they put on new springs and dampers that lower the car by 30mm for £500 - 600.
Would this still give me an acceptable ride comfort as i do around 35,000 miles a year and don't want a super hard ride
    cheers

You need to get hold of 'spoons' mate..

He's got the VXR kit on his car..as has Plasma..

either of them will be able to help you out..

OK, I'm sort of here first then....

I've only had the Eibach 888 lowering springs and I found the ride quality to be absolutely fine... no problem at all...

However I dont have the dampers yet as I'm still waiting for 888 to call me about a date to fit them !!!

I've been told that the dampers will also make the ride firmer, but not to much.. if this is the case, then you should be fine

EDIT: It is most certainly NOT a hard ride... and I've got 19" wheels as well..

Ok, looks like I'm last then. What Spoons said sums up my findings on the 888 springs. Same sort of ride as the SRi type springs but just a tad lower. I do over 20k a year with a load of town driving and the ride feels pretty ok to me even with the 19's.
