Default My past couple of months.

Well, I haven't posted for a while as work has been demanding and should be going away soon. Since my last meet which was Total Vauxhall Live 2011, life has changed a little bit. Firstly, I sold my partners Corsa as there was little point in having two cars and now she drives mine occasionally, but when I'm gone, she will be the main driver. I took her for a couple of practice runs as she has never had a big car and she was fine. A month into her driving it, we had a little argument which got her upset and she managed to scratch the back bumper down to the primer, to which I was . I've managed to forgive her for that as we were with friends that day too and they made me see sense.

On the 3rd September, I was in a traffic queue, third from the lights and the car behind decides to shunt me at 2/3mph. I get out to have a look and lucky for him, there was no initial damage, just very minor dents and scratches. You'd really have to be looking to see them. The day after that, I got married . The wife has always wanted a dog and unfortunately I had to ask the landlord for permission so I couldn't surprise her on the day, but we bought a dog shortly after - a Springer Spaniel who we got from a farm in Exeter and his tail is docked. We called him Cody. I never thought I would have animals in my car and it started back when we got a cat, being taken to the vets and stuff. Obviously now we have to take the dog for a walk, so I've got a back seat cover for him, a dog seatbelt and car harness for him. Everyone who knows me are in quite a that I've let this happen.

I'm also waiting to hear from an examiner for my advanced driving test. I had 4 lessons and my observer said I was ready for it. Since starting this driving, I don't really suffer from road rage anymore. I keep driving calmly, thinking to myself that they should know better (if they look like they have been driving for years) or just laugh and shake my head. No more shouting and swearing.

I guess the most important thing is that my car passed it's MOT this morning with flying colours and it got a present - 4 new TOYO T1-Sport tyres. Has anyone had any issues with these in the dry or wet?

I'm assuming some of you will be like , but we all know that it's nice to share things sometimes. And I feel this place is better than say Facebook.

I enjoyed reading this mate while I was supping my coffee, quite a few things happened over a couple of paragraphs!

I need to stop getting so angry when a numpty cuts me up or does something that causes me to go ape. Must admit, I laughed and shook my head at someone the other day after he overtook me and the learner in front on a busy residential street, he just sat there with his lip out and looked when we were sat at the lights.

Did you insert "thou shalt not scratch my Veccy" into the vows?

Sounds like a hectic but mainly great couple of months! Congrats on the marriage!

LOL, some stupid people out there. It is quite funny when they won't look at you because they know they feel stupid.

Unfortunately not, normal vows except the bit where she didn't say 'honour and obey' which most women don't say apparently.

Thanks for the good luck. I'm hoping I don't need it. My friends told me that it is just a car and I guess they are right, but I still get upset at any scratch or dent. I hope they didn't cause too much damage.
