    Default Manifold Cracked

Found a nasty crack in my exhaust manifold the other day
Would explain the power loss and smoke smell it started to produce.
I've looked about but can only find turbo/manifold combo's for ££££
Does anyone know where I can find a manifold on its own? I Dont need a turbo so really dont want to have to fork out for one if I can help it.
    For a 04 Vectra 1.9 CDTi SRi

    Cheers guys

Unfortunately, I think it's an integrated unit and the manifold is not available without the turbo. I still have a Haynes manual so I can check later but others may confirm before that.

No chance of getting a weld repair done on the manifold by an engineering shop? Obviously depends on how bad and where the crack is.

I'll get a photo of it and see what u think. It's kinda starts between two of the branches and then just goes round to the base from there.

If it's a whole unit that could be a ****** lol

Its a 1 peice Turbo Manifold design. A brand new (not recon) unit is around £440 on ebay, plus you'll need another £30 -£40 for new bolts, gaskets, studs, clamps etc.

And an aircon discharge and recharge.

The turbo bolts into the Manifold so it wasn't that hard. I did wonder one being ally and the other steel it couldn't be one whole unit...
I found a donor turbo/manifold assembly on ebay for cheap. Took it apart and threw the nakered turbo to one side then sent the manifold section off to my mate to be acid dipped to clear the crap out.
Took the broken manifold / turbo assembly off my veccy and unbolted the working turbo from the broken manifold. Fitted the new gaskets etc that were required and bolted my working turbo onto the fresh donor manifold. re-fitted and job done saved a couple of hundred quid
