Exhaust Emission warning Light

Hi all,

New to the forums so apologies if this has been asked before, had a quick search but couldnt find anything.

The Exhaust gas warning light (Bottom right on dash) came on yesterday on start up, very low revs, sluggish, then seemed to clear and has driven ok since.

The light is still on, but seems to be driving ok.

Any ideas what this could be and what i need to do?

Oh its a Vectra 1.9 cdti (08 plate)

I had the same, turned out to be the EGR valve which Vx changed under warranty. Although, I had no symptoms.

It's easy to remove and clean with brake cleaner, look at the 'How 2' on here.
