Front Wheel Bearing Cost

Hey all, need a new front wheel bearing and got a guy at work who knows a mechanic in a small garage quote £90 supply and fit, does this sound a decent price?

A independent local tyre place I rang quoted saying "anywhere up to £200" but would have to look before quoting properly. Obviously in both instances they know it's the hub and bearing. Just wondered what prices others may have had this work done for.

Yeah i would say thats a good price, mine cost £65 0f ebay and took about 90 mins to do, so that price would sound ok to me

Snap his hand off if I was you,Ive just done mine and it cost £55 from local parts shop and some skin off the knuckles Vauxhall want about £185 for one.And they can be a sod to do if the bolts don't want to come out

What I thought! Looking myself on ebay it's about £65 (different types so doubt I'd get the right one) and the How2 on here is good but shows it's a bit of a job to complete!

Let you know what my final bill is, I've never been to this place before!
