    confused SMD Led's

Hi all, I know this has been asked before and I appologise but... does anyone have a definitive answer to roughly how many and what different types of Led's are need to carry out the Led conversion from crappy yellow to blue/white ? I've searched the forums but can't find the answer

I appreciate that some cars have more switches than others and hence need more Led's but an idea would be good - better to have a few left over than not enough

    Thanks in advance, Engelskmannen

Thats because there is no definitive answer You can have two cars, exactly the same spec and year, but still have different variations of leds. The ones used are:

PLCC-2 (the most common and usually around 80 of them)
PLCC-4 (not widely used, mainly in the bid or gid)
    1206 (used in switches)
    0805 (again, used in switches)

In the vectras and signums you will need the 'side facing' PLCC-2's for the dials.

    Hope that helps?
