small fuse/relay box?

at the side of my battery tray is another long tray with fuses in, but next to it is another thin small one that i cant get the cover of, does anybody know what this is for and should it be difficult to get the cover out of the gap?

As you lift the lid on the battery cover there's a clip on the fuse box pull it forward and lift most of the fuse's and relays are for the engine and lights washers at the front of the car

cameras knackered so cant take a pic, its not the big fusebox its next to that. measures about 15cm long and about 3/4cm wide it looks like you have to lift it up

I know exactly the one your on about. it more or less tucked underneath the edge of the wing.. Not on my standard SRi facelift but its there on my preface with AFL

yes, im just making sure it should be tooked under the wing as im fixing up my damaged vec c and also needed to know what its for as need a new one.

you said afl, my car doesnt have that so wonder what its for on mine then, as ive not seen it on a few that ive looked at

Like you say it is as good as tucked under the wing / nearside gutter next to the battery.

I have wondered this myself a few times... I think that maybe the fog-light loom runs through this from the behind the glove box - I am sure TIS wiring diagrams hint at a connector for the fog loom.

Her car was a basic model with no fogs, no afl's - nothing at all,
just standard headlights, dual horn, standard air con, blah blah blah.
Similar specification to a "Club".
