    Default Best place to buy discs/pads?

    I'm looking for rear discs/pads for a vectra 3.2 gsi ( ap54 jco )the rears are 292mm vented, where's the best place to buy?

    I'm looking for a budget set really as don't want to spend a fortune.

    Go to the dealers mate and buy a kit I did 4 months ago and it was about £65 all in part number for the kit is 93186301

    99% of the time this works out to be false economy as the pads and discs are made from soft cheese and only last a third the time of what branded parts will.

    As said by paulhb, either get from the dealer (most service parts are reasonably priced anyway), or if you want to save approx £10 then try www.autovaux.co.uk - same OEM parts, but slightly cheaper than Vauxhall.

    The vec's a big, heavy car, I don't skimp on tyres or brakes. Didn't look, have you got the Full Member Trade Card? Saves a fortune at the Dealers.

    All genuine VX discs and pads for my GSi, 314mm vented front, 292mm vented rear (I think ) were £165 or so - delivered - from LMF Vauxhall, one of the club's approved traders. I couldn't believe they were so cheap!
