Get Vauxhall to look at the car, the sensor that detects the doors position is faulty..

Where have you "brought" it from?

Did you get a good deal when you buyed it?

    But seriously,

    Welcome

As GSi 3.2 says, faulty door position sensor. Take it to Vauxhall and they'll fix it in short order.

Under the sale-of-goods act they have to correct any faults with the car, providing it's within a reasonable time..the law state's up to 6 months..

I'd be contacting 'cargiant' and asking them to repair the car..

If your car is still under three years old then and covered less than 60.000 miles you should be able to get it repaired at any Vauxhall dealer under the warrenty.

Had this happen to me yesterday but with the drivers door so the car wouldn't lock either, waggled the multi plug going into the door and this seems to have worked so far

Anyone know where the switch/sensor is - i guess it's in the catch somewhere and works off the strike plate??????
