Default Canbus Error Free 501 Bulbs

Hi i recently joined the vectra owners club and i am in need of some help please.

I purchased error free 501 L.E.D sidelight bulbs, they work absolutely fine but when i switch them off they flash every 3-4 seconds, i tried them in my friends 2007 vxhall astra sxi, they work fine and switch off ok plus he already had the same bulbs in his car which i tried in my vectra and the fault was still there so it looks like the fault is with my car.

Any ideas how to sort this ? Thanks

Replace them with Mtec 501's. The LED's ill always strobe in the Vectra, can't answer why they don't do it in the Astra though.

They flash due to the bulb check system. Has the astra got a system like that?

I bought X-Tec 501 bulbs and there perfectly white without errors BUT they're not all that bright. The bulb itself is silver so look standard in the headlamp.

That sort of thing. I suggest you have a read of your handbook. It will also use other bulbs in place of blown ones etc. Quite clever really.

Same sort of thing, does the same with the tail lights. Just to note, you should only have one rear fog light, off side.
