I'm having a problem when accelerating more so in the higher
Gears ,it will start to accelerate turbo starts to kick in then power cuts for
A second and then it starts to accelerate again ,it's a 1.9 cdti 150 I've tried to read as many posts as I can on the problem but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for so far I've
    Renewed egr
    Renewed map
Cleaned and re soldered joints on throttle body
    Cleaned maf
    Renewed vac pipes
Flap rod on inlet still attached
    Renewed oil and filter
    Renewed fuel filter
It's doing my head in because sometimes it will accelerate perfect any suggestions welcome thanks in advance

Are you describing a short sharp snap on/off or a smooth on/off on/off on/ff about 3 times during acceleration like a progressive pulse pulling!, If its the latter i believe that's normal with a good cdti 150, Not everyone gets this but i think its a mix of the multi point multi stage injectors & variable vane turbo, It only seems to happen in higher gears when power is demanded & not in lower gears with higher revs.

it is like you describe a short sharp off/on and only seems to happen
once, going through each gear ,ive read a few threads on overboosting
where the ecu cuts fuel when it starts to overboost thats what it kinda feels like (just to describe) but i dont think its overboosting
ive got no check engine light and no faults stored and it drives lovely exept for this blip in power

Do you know what rpm it happens at & is it usually around the same rpm in all gears that are affected, is it more noticable in 2 & 3rd.

it happens just over 2000 revs(about) and yeh seems to happen at same revs its alot more noticable in 4th and 5th ,i can re-create it nearly every time changing up from 3rd to 4th but also pulling from low down(revs) in a higher gear if you know what i mean.

i unplugged the egr a while back after reading a few threads on it just to try it and it did increase throttle response so i left it unplugged dont know if that is related to the blip in power but im not convinced it is

i read a thread earlier ,the guy described the exact same problem as mine ,blip in power on acceleration he said it turned out to be the maf
he said he had it cleaned and reset, i dont know what he means by reset
would it be remove negative terminal on battery for a while to reset ecu or
a tech2 reset or is there another reset method?
