Not yet i have one but its still under warranty, so i am not modding yet.

Buy this kit , come with all instruction you need, i have fixed loads of 360s with this type of kit without problems

There is other things you can do to help after it`s working again,

Remove all grills from rear of console ( to increase air flow )

Next doors Xbox has died and I have been reading up on it here http://www.llamma.com

Seems quite easy to take apart and cure most problems.

Im going to pop round and ask them if I can fix it for them and see how it goes.

It it all goes well they get it back and will be over the moon, if it doesn't then nothing lost other than a bit of mine time.

I really like the air vent mods Scotsdragron. May think about doing that on my own xbox soon-ish.

ive bought a brand new slim one and left a towel on top of it to stop the dust resting on it.i forgot to take it off and played a game for a hour and half.it didnt smell good at all.(very hot plastic smell)its still working though.lol. p.s im loving them custom ones.
