Hi,

Got a 2002 2.2 Dti Vectra C that I'm looking at having serviced in the next month or so.
Not at all keen to go to local VX dealer (Wolverhampton) so looking to see if anyone can recommend a good honest garage that can be trusted to do a proper job with no shenanigans

Looking for Wolverhampton/Bilston area

DIY is by far the cheapest way, your certain the right oils etc in it. And you get a sense of appreciation when your car is healthy. :-)

Good point mate, just two issues

1. I want to keeop the service stamps up to date
2. I should not be allowed within 400 yards of a tool of any description!

oi whats wrong with evans we will rip you off halsahw ...lol ?? i work there u cheeky sod lol ...try i&c in wolves ..hingley auto's ...or me ..i cant stamp ya book tho but will be the best job lol ...if i do say so me self ...

Thought about doing that with mine

But just keep all receipts for all parts, and do the work myself.

That "bird" with the lobsided haircut that sits on the service desk, she's got a nasty attitude and a half hasn't she?! Even the AA bloke that towed me there once, refused to go in and speak to her!

There is a garage on Sunbeam Street WV2, KR Jones Motors very small independent garage very reasonable charges, and the chap is very honest too. Not sure if he will stamp your book though.
