Just covered the area with a layer of decent quality electrical tape and, without wanting to speak too soon, I think it's fixed.

On my first hosepipe test, it leaked water as usual, but I think that was because the rubber gaiter round the cables had come off when I closed the tailgate, and the water was running in through that. I've sprayed it with the tailgate open and no sign of anything inside...

    Fingers crossed it's finally sorted...

For the water in the boot check the aerial rubber base see if it has perished.
For the sound from dash check if you have wet front passenger footwell.

And clear the rubber bung in the bulkhead so the water drains away.

Anybody drilled out the rivets that holds the black clip in place that secure the plastic roof bar trim strip running from the bottom of the windscreen to the back of the roof (Top of tailgate) ?.You know the rivets that come loose and cause a water leak.

I couldn't get mine out with the drill so I just hammered the heads off with a flat head screwdriver, took me 10 mins to do all 8 and I'm not particularly handy.

Do the pop rivets pull up alright and secure the black plastic tight into the channel.
