Default Dublin members recomend me a nice place

i coming over to Dublin on the 25th with the wife we are staying at the http://www.trimcastlehotel.com/ what im after doing is going for a nice drive to soak up that irish countryside what im looking for is somewhere nice up in the hills with a nice cafe on top for some dinner with some nice back ground so can take some nice pics of the car.
being from blackpool im not into all the normal places hoilday makers go i love the untouched unspoilt places that only locals know
so if you know of anywhere nice with some great senery and with a nice cafe their as well please let us know so i can google it and get the directions
    thanks in advanced guys

Dont know about cafe,s but if you want scenery around dublin you can not really go wrong with the wicklow mountains, situated to the south of dublin , these run in a line down the coast .
Small roads criss cross the mountains , Head down to newcastle then head inland to the village of roundwood , at roundwood you are in the middle of the 4 lough,s . from here you can go on up to lough dan or across the ridge road , you will find plenty of scenery up there m8

powerscourt one of the best stately homes around ireland is out wicklow direction and as said do the wicklow gap, circuit of ireland rally stage there are manys a place to drop in on, druids glen for golf but good food, don,t forget it,s the euro and although the rate is good at the minute dublin is pricey and a drive round dublin bay past dalkey and killiney where the rich and famous live "bono"for instance, enjoy your trip

Yeah as said Wicklow Mts (plenty of walks), or Howth (lovely town). Or a long long trip to the seaside town of Skerries, near my home town! Head there, hit the blue bar & get some chicken wings! tasty!
Powerscourt is a good spot but not sure of places 2 eat in.
    Enjoy your stay.
