    Default what is a fuel regulator

    just been to vx after booking a free health test as i only bought the car 3 weeks ago and he said the cars been recalled because off the fuel regulator, what is this and will i have to pay for this

    The fuel pressure regulator is required to reduce the fuel pump pressure at the fuel injectors ... the recall will be free of charge as its driven By Vauxhall


    and 30 minutes for a response is good.....

    , also, wasnt this the issue that was brought up on watchdog....? Is the car a 2.2 petrol??

    THANKS very much for you help and sorry for that was getting abit worried lol does this effect the amonut of juice the car drinks by any chance cause the ohter day i rekon i had about 15 quid in the tank so toped her up with 60 quid of fuel and only got 278 miles on the comptuer?

    For the range calculation to be right you'll need to fill the tank to the brim, then select the range in the menu as the current item to display, and do a 'reset present' and a 'reset all'. Then you can switch the current item to something else if you like. It needs resetting from time to time to get an accurate gauge of how much fuel is in the tank. Maybe once every couple of months.

    no it wont

    after you have topped up it will give a figure of expected mileage I guessing you where doing town driving prior to topping up, if you go on a motorway or do some careful driving this figure will go up

    thanks guys i love this site so many helpfull people thnaks,,,,, yeh its a 2.2i petrol auto, just a quick question as the car did not come with a user manual how do you reset the thingie on the computer

    on the end of the wiper stalk controls the computer
