Default How can I turn OFF Parking Heater

    Hello all...
Just want to find if I can somehow to turn my parking heater off...
I mean every time when i start my car and outside are below 8 degrees C it turns ON himself...till the engine temperature reaches 80 Degree C...
So my question is if I will pull off the plug from mine outside temperature sensor...will it still starts HIMSELF???
Does anyone knows if he "smell" the outside temp trough our sensor from front bumper? Or he take it from some of Engine Coolant Sensors???
It is now really annoying to hear it if I don't want that (to turn it ON)...
Or can i UNPLUG ONLY one of the wires from the plug which is connected parking heater in order to DO NOT START ANYMORE HIMSELF...Only manually start...I mean to interrupt the communication between PARKING HEATER and one of those sensors...i think that will be the easier way...

I still need it to turn it ON...But ONLY MANUALLY...(when I need that) from the climate panel...

So is here someone (electrician) who knows which wire i need to cut from main PLUG from parking Heater???There are a lot of them...maybe 10-12...
    1 - fuel pump
    2 - glow plug
    3 - fan heater
4 - engine coolant sensor (to know when to stop )
5 - Outside temp Sensor (to know if to start or not HIMSELF )
    6 - timer plug
    7 - water pump
    and a couple more.
Now I need to know EXACTLY which one of them is exactly the Outside AIR temp Sensor??? in order to "cut" it...

Because I think if i unplug directly the plug from SENSOR from the bumper...I will newer see which temperature is outside on my DISPLAY...

So my Little question is only about that Main Parking Socket....and which one of all that wires i can CUT?

So please any answers will be appreciated...

    Thanks..

From which I know....all opel/vauxhalls has the same "extras" (parking sensor, rain sensors, heated seats, alarm, PARKING HEATER)...some of them has more extras...other ones has only a couple/or without "extras"...and Parking Heater is only an OPTION of the car...i mean someone when buy it (the car) from new...if he needed that parking heater as an extra for his car, he can pay some more Euros/Pounds and he get it...

So i think even on the UK cars that parking heaters are fitted...
(and I mean an genuine one...not a WEBASTO aftermarket)

    Thanks...

nope. All the things apart from the alarm are at an additional cost here in the UK. So most do not have them

    Hello again...

yesterday i have unplug that "big" socket from the Parking heater and that is a socket with 8 wires...
From all that 8 wires I have only 4 of them only...
    1 - Red.
    2 - Black
And other 2 are a little thin but i cannot tell you color of them.

So with all that how can I make it to WORK only by programming it...
I din't want it to start everitime when i start my engine and outside temp is BELOW 8 degree...?????

It is now really annoyng...(with that dense SMOKE under my car...).

    many thanks (KENP )

well the parking heater on opel is Eberspächer and webasto ... soooo still aftermarked even OEM fitted.

You can have it Tech2 off. but why do you want it removed. as it actually help your motor live longer? (you actually also have to start it sometimes during the summer time to make sure it dosnt bread)..

but if you remove the plug for it.. then it wont work

    Red/black is live and ground

the 2 others its for telling when to start .. let me guess you also have ECC (climate control) if you have you can in that also tell the car when to start..

(forgot besides taking the plug off you could also remove the fuse...)

    Many thanks KENP...

I tried already booth options (unplug the socket from it...and take the fuse off)...EVEN i disconnected the plug from rear little "dossier pump" which give fuel in Parking heater...

In all 3 situations i found that my board computer is DIED! (only a BIG F appears in stead of numbers of KM.)
I don`t know how many miles (KM in my case) or even the instant consumption, or average consumption...all are DIED.
i don`t know how they are linked with that info? I mean if I take off the FUSE (which is for parking heater) why I loose the rest of INFO from board computer?

and IT works...because the smoke (huge smoke) still persist...
And maybe you know how worth is with that smoke under you car...in the morning
so maybe (my last option) I will insert a piece of potatoes in the exhaust of the parking heater... maybe than IT will realize that I don't need it to run without my PERMISSION...
