LOL. Exactly the same in my household. Missus can't imagine why I'm going to look at other Vectras at the West Mids meet on sunday. She justs tuts and raises her eyebrows!!

My wife tries to show an interest in the car and site but its not very convincing. She shows more interest in all the gadgets like satnav than actually basic things like cleaning it.

re the site, she admits to being a vectra widow but i admit she is very good at listening while i run ideas past her.

She likes going to billing car show, as she just takes a book, suntan cream and chills out by the car/tent for the weekend, drinking warm stella. Wouldnt be able to get her to a show like TRAX though.

I too have a vectra-c.com widow!! She does get a little miffed if I spend too long in the evening on here! She just doesn't get it I'm afraid. I know for a fact she won't come to any meets, never mind things like Trax!! To her a car is to get from A to B - although I do keep asking her why she has a Corsa SRi!!! I may have to start to add some mods to her car and see if the bug bites her!!

We had a female friend of ours up a couple of weeks ago to stay with us and she was calling me an anorak all week. I received a parcel in the post this morning from her for my birthday, and she'd got me a t-shirt and she'd had printed on the front 'I LOVE MY VECTRA' and on the back 'No1 OFFICIAL VECTRA SPOTTER' Cow!!! The wife isn't too bad though I have to say.

maybe we should set up a site for the vectra c widows iam sure my other half would join.iam in the dog house many a night for being on here.as for the meets she comes along and sits in the car reading a book.

this just does sound familiar !!! mrs O is a good one though she likes doing stuff to the car too , like watching me clean it!. seriously though she likes coming to shows with me cos we actually get to spend time together without the kiddies round our ankles . Not saying we dont like em but time out is very nice !She has even stumped up for half of the cost of the signum new boot spoiler ! what a gal !!.. I had to buy the tuning box myself though .
