    Question VXR LPG conversion

    Is it worth a hussle?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=370547517378

    Just was wondering what impact it would have on my wallet saving wise... do you think I would save on tax and fuel... I wont mensin insurance I'm just 28 with 4 years no claim bonus at the moment so insurance will be still a bit high he?

    NO.... loads of trouble and even VXR Brand Manager says NO to LPG on the Vectra VXR

    Vectra VXR isnt happy with LPG and will not work properly.

    As spoons says a deffo no no on the vec, if it is a good system it works fine on the Astra with good gains.

    question, why would you even buy a VXR if economy was that much of a concern....

    Thats an astra on the link. As spoons said the vectra vxr does'nt like LPG and from my previous experience working in a vw dealer the amount of hassle and running faults that appear with LPG conversions it really is more hassle than its worth.

    Take it from my experience 100% NO on a vectra vxr.

    I wa thinking abour remap on my cdti but is just turn to 135551miles and would it be better propably to get something more powerfull and economical... I'm just so confused at the moment wife want to keep it couse its a great family car but i would prefer something faster u know i have checked that vxr estate on ebay... and that woul compromise everything except economy but well i will have smille on my face for a long time

    The replacement is totally awesome thanks. Not going to say its been problem free as i said that once about the vec and the next day it went tits up lol. I am a very happy motorist though.
