Default Fault codes - what are they?

Hey guys, i just read the codes on my vectra c 2003 and i have absolutyl no idea what any of them mean really so in order to fix the huge list i was wondering if people could shed some light on any of these that they know?

I know that my inet manifold has an air leak, my CC has no clutch switch (because the wires have been linked up to bypass this) and my aircon doesnt work - but other than this i had no idea i had any faults!

Far too many there to make any sense of it. Also a lot of them relate to the ignition being turned on with some major connector unplugged (hence all the 'communication failure' ones. I suspect most of the faults that these codes relate to are now no longer present.

Clear the codes, then go for a test drive and then read the codes again.

My auto sparky got a massive list like that too, though I meant to ask him how, cos I can't see them, I can only see ECU alerts.
Are you getting the car and spanner light on your dash? I have it coming up too and from what we can tell it is not a malfunction per se, but a problem with the electronics. However, everything works on my car, cruise, A/C, etc etc. The only exception being a warning for front fog light and safeguard. My auto sparky had the CIM and dash out and reckoned the CIM had been bypassed with something soldered in the way, which is how he reckons the car and spanner is being thrown up.
But as everything works, or appears to, I can't see that being right, so I wonder if it is a result of being half can bus?
Let me know how you get on and I'll update you if I find anything too.

Someone is using an old copy of op-com to get a lit like that. Op-com old version picks up ever blip going as you can see. So get the code read by snap-on or tech 2 .

The first time he read it the errors didn't come up, and my code reader only finds the ECU ones, i.e. Pcodes, should a regular code reader also get the B,C and U codes as well? But he read it yesterday when I wasn't there so I don't know what he did it with, I know he has opcom, bosch, autodiagnosis, but perhaps he used his old copy of opcom and got all those errors.

A generic code reader will only get the P ones (from the engine control unit), as the others are GM specific, so would require a code reader that knows how to interrogate the other control units. For example, Op-com and Tech2.
