    Default Egr valve on 3.0Cdti

Out of curiosity, is it the part that is expensive or is it and absolute nightmare to fit?

It's probably an expensive part everything for this engine seems to cost twice as much

There is quite bit of stuff to remove to get it off aswel.

I was going to take mine off & clean it - it looked easier if you removed the crinkly metal pipe along with the EGR... If you have the right length extender bar for a socket set, this should not be too hard... unfortunately I did not, so I ditched the idea!

The usual situation - 4 out of 6 bolts are easy to get to...

    Default V6 cdti EGR removal

Try as I might I cannot find any information as to where to find the damned EGR in my Siggy. Any suggestions gratefully received - and yes I do know that it is under the bonnet or thereabouts !!

As you look in the engine bay, remove the beauty cover from the engine, the EGR is on the top of the engine, in the V towards the left, you'll see a 'ribbed' metal pipe and the EGR body if normally black with a plug that is on the end nearest to you.
