    Default 1.9cdti - 150 Radiator flush

    Ok all,

Winter on route, I have 2.5 liters of nice new OAT anti freeze after changing the water pump on the Mrs corsa.

So my plan was to bump out my current coolant ( just the radiator + header tank) chuck the 2.5 liters in and any additional fill with water. My existing OAT that will remain in the heater matrix / block is probably sufficiant that increase in conectration will make up for its short fall.

So head under the bonnet and its pitch black, checked under the car and can see a small hole in the under engine tray am i right in thinking that is thier for draning the radiator or am i going to have to take the tray off ?

Personally I would take the tray off. Not much of a hassle to remove and gives much better access to the drain bolt...
