Well found out why not recived ma log book was reading thru finance docs and says they keep hold of the log book gets sent to them anyone else had this before they will send to me when paid for car

Never owned a car on finance... although it's deffo a good way of preventing it from being sold on with outstanding debt.

i havent heard of that before but surely the car has to be registered to you anyway otherwise you wont be able to tax it?

They send sumit out so I can tax it so it says bit yer its so a can't sell the car with finance on it

Something to bare in mind would be your Insurance, there's usually a question asking if you are the registered keeper, which would mean you wont be.

I am the reg keeper they keep hold of it tho when I got the car finance said I would be reg keeper and need to insure it to tax it wen a got the car I got ma finance seprately

Ah ok, just wondered how they could get the V5 sent to them if its your name and address on it. And the tax reminder is sent out to the registered keeper, but you said that they(the finance company?) send you out something to be able to tax it.

Yer that's right they send some sort doc for me to tax it they release the v5 when car is paid there called duncton had to find finance get approved find a car then they send funds to dealer bad credit from when was younger
