    Default help me please

    hi all i took my car to a tyre and exhaust place today to have a wheel alignment and wheels balanced and new valves put in my snowflakes and now all of the tyres are losing air,why is this happening and what can i do to stop it

    I think because you had the snowflakes stored or you have just got them the rim Corrodes and this is a common problem with alloys. you will have to take them back they will have to remove the tyres sand down the seats and coat them with a special sealant. Then replace tyres.

    thanks for quick reply will this cost me extra or should they be swallowing cost as job wernt done properly

    just take them back mate and say look you havent sealed them properly to the rims as there leaking air SIMPLES

    Yes they should do it free of charge as a good tyre fitter would have spotted it.

    and make sure you inspect the tyres/rims for any damage when they have been underinflated ...this is the time your rims are at their most vunerable and also when the tyres can get weakened sidewalls from being driven on etc ...

    took the wheels back and they used bead sealer but their still going down not as fast,i dont want to take my alloys there again as they scratched the alloys second time round

    nothing had them balanced and they were fine and no cracks as theyve only just gone on the car and made sure before hand that they wernt cracked
