Default advice for tuning and flywheel

    hi all
i have an 05 vectra 120ps and ive had it for a year, flywheel has been ******ed for the whole time.
i have the top aa warranty and the guy from the aa said its covered up to 500£ im looking at 795 for clutch flywheel and release bearing.
my clutch pedal sticks at the floor sometimes will this cure the problem?

also i know diesels can be tuned and would like your opinions on tuning mine eg remap air box egrvalve decat (£40 is this good? are cats worth a lot at the scrap yard?)

ive just had the belts done and its getting a full srvice

i tinted the windows myself and had the grill sprayed......what you think?

    thanks guys

Nice care pal. Tuning its no problem. A remap with egr-off and de-cat make it a lot more powerfull. To spare the dmf and clutch a good tuner let the torque limits on at low revs so it will be a problem. Its possible to make 150-170 hp and 370 - 400 nm with a remap and de-cat.

So what's the correct route to take??
Decat 1st (just take out the cat?? Or precat and middle bit too?)
Block egr 2nd ( I work in an engineering firm, should I just make a plate the size of the egr inlet (how thick?)
Remap 3rd (to clear alarms from blocking egr)
    Any thing else??

About the clutch?? I take it they at bolox?? Do u mean a good remap will allow low pressure on dmf at low revs?

    Cheers
