Newbie with a few questions.

Hi guys. Have just registered on here as im looking to buy myself 1.9 CDTi but have a few questions to ask.

What are the main faults to look for on a 150 ?

Also, what are the differences between an SXi & an SRi ? As i was looking to get myself a Black 150 SRi but Dad has just offered me his SXi.

Its a Silvery/Gold 54reg 1.9 CDTi 150 SXi with 86k on the clock. Has 11 months MOT , 5 months Tax & fsh. It has just had the EGR valve, dual mass flywheel along with clutch, & front & rear discs & pads.
Bodywork & interior are immaculate.
He has also recently fitted the 17" SRi alloys & a debadged grille.

He said i can have it for £2,500.

Does this sound good to u guys,not that i think my dad would have off!!lol. But wanted an SRi & just wondering if its worth gettin this instead??

jeeeeeeeez, good price matey, 3rd injector is another issue and find out about the handbrake recall if you can...

Thanks guys. Ye i thought it seemed good.
Had a look & apart from the bits he's sorted & the 3rd injector mentioned above, the only other probs i can find are the springs (which he has also replaced all 4), the Inlet Manifold & a Swirl Valve??? Is that about it for faults?
Whats this about Handbrake recall?

Is there any major differences between the SRi & SXi? I know my dads doesnt have a trip computer
