    Default netbook with no disc drive

    any IT experts on here i need some help,


    my i have a notbook but it dont have a cd/dvd drive but i need i have a pcv theory disc is there anyway i can copy the disc from another laptop to the hard drive upload it to one of them upload sites then download it to my netbook and install it that way, will that work because when i used it before i needed the disc to be in the drive for me to run the theory questions, if that wont work is there another way?

    copy the disk to a memory stick then run from there

    better way if it need to see the cd in the drive...

    Make an image of the cd known as an ISO (google ISO maker)
    Then create a virtual dvd drive with a program called Daemon tools
    Run Daemon tools point it to the ISO you made and it will think its the cd...
    Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services

    done this but wont let me open the iso securom is blocking it anyway round it

    Find a copy of Daemon tools pro i think it is, under advanced theres an option to emulate 'securom'

    securom still keeps blocking it only option now is external cd rom drive
