I need to change my rear pads on my 2.0 turbo the vented discs have about a 1-2mm lip but look in good nick I was just going to take the lip off and just put new pads on or should I just change the lot.

change the lot fella as the disc and pad set from vx is a tad over £50 but the cailper carrier bolts are a git to get off
as above fit new discs n pads, hardest part i found was winding the calipers back in
Caliper carriers need a breaker bar or an old ratchet with a length of pipe over the handle for leverage. (I found a section of trampoline leg worked a treat!!
The pistons CAN be wound in with a big G clamp and a pair of mole grips but far easier (and less risky) just to buy a winding kit from eBay for £30 odd.
