Hi, I'm hoping somebody can identify a part from the fuel system that I've circled. At the moment it is spraying out fuel in a fine mist
Thanks

I dont think thats a vauxhall part mate, looks like someone has added it, thinks its a fuel filter or such?
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services
Thanks for the reply Plasma, I'm not sure.
Found an old thread which refers to it as a fuel circuit http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23649
Searched google for fuel circuit and I'm still stumped.
It might help if we knew the vehicle that it's fitted to m8
Judging by the rocker cover that's the Z22SE. I've never seen anything like that on my vec b which also has a Z22SE engine.
A puzzler.
Sorry, thought it might be a common component on all Vectra's.
It's on Vectra C, 2.2 Direct, Sri, 56 plate.
its a hydro damper fitted on the yh it stops preshure surges in the fuel system like a small tank to damped the flow when the fuel pump is running stops kangarooing the fuel ...... you need a new fuel pipe if its leaking ,,,,,,
Had one of those on my Carlton always wondered what it was
Managed to get the part from Vauxhall for £50 (unit and all the pipes).
Stopped at a few garages on the way to ask but was only given baffled looks lol.
Not even Vauxhall could tell me exactly what it is, best was 'fuel pressure regulator)
