    Default Kerb Lighting

Anyone know what bulbs are used in the kerb lighting??? Festoons? T10's? etc,
I want to get some LED or SMD units to make them brighter, but I'm stuck in work and want to get them ordered today.

    Thanks in advance

Not many will know on here mate, as kerb lighting is REALLY rare on a Vec-C, Vauxhall removed it 2002/2003 from all models. Best way will be to just pop one of the lights out of the door, not sure if that means door card off or not, but that's a simple enough job if it does.

I popped one out on Saturday to see, they are 44mm Festoon's,
You don't have to take the door card off as its mounted into the metal... only problem is the curvature of the metal of the door, darned thing won't go back in right....
I have to say it, God bless Vauxhall's techniques of piling the kit on the early cars THEN stripping it back. Screwed when I go to change the car tho...

My 54 plate estate has pretty much everything or the wiring for everything on it (apart from kerb lighting). I assume it's because I put a few of the rarer options on the car (sunroof, power boot, TPMS etc) that they just stuffed a fully populated loom in. Almost every single fuse and relay is present on the car in all three fuse boxes, all the wiring is there for everything that I've done so far (including the fully heated seats all round that have just gone in).

Apart from not personally really liking the look of the facelift, I think the above is the best reason for sticking with a pre-face myself

My 02 plate has the passengers fold flat seat, auto wipers, kerblighting, passenger seat 8way adjust, rear vents, TC+, rear cupholders, etc, but no wiring for the blanks in the centre console, bit strange but sure.
I dislike the facelifts too, which means I'm looking elsewhere for a new motor, namely Saab cos as we know, its essentially a Vectra underneath. Definitely sticking to GM brands tho.
