    Default gearbox problems 6 speed

just had the oil in my gear box changed about three weeks ago. using castroll gear oil and put in 2.4l. problem is since its been done when i park on a hill whith the front pointing up. when i get in the clutch sits higher than the brake pedal and when presses it stays pressed down. and i have to put my fut under the clutch and push it up otherwise its hard the drive. also they actual gear changes are smooth and the cars done 124k

Plus bleed through some fluid using a preasure bleeder. Rule out the fact that there may be air in the system before looking at anything more cinister.

The hydraulic clutch uses the same fluid reservoir as the brakes if there is a leak on the clutch system the level will be low, usually to the level of the fill pipe that comes out the side of the reservoir and runs down to the master cylinder for the clutch, if it's low then look for signs of brake fluid around the bottom of the gearbox bell housing

Theres the answer above, and also check to see if your clutch return spring hasnt broken as well, that'll stop it from coming back up

The clutch problem is nothing to do with the amount if gearbox oil. You could drain it out completely and the clutch should still work normally.

There is a problem with the clutch and/or operating system that has coincidentally gone wrong just after you had the gearbox oil replaced.

Who did the work? Perhaps they opened the clutch bleed valve on the top of the gearbox thinking it was the oil filler point and let air into the system....?
