It will have coroded on, you will need to get some heat on it ie. blow torch
mine was like that, i had to grind a slit in the clamp as the nut and bolt fixing had rusted solid, then a screwdriver in the slit and turned was enough to break the seal, then i sprayed it with penetrating oil, then it came off easily
Well I got the back box off with force in the end unfortunately I damaged one of the metal bits that goes into the rubber I was not bothered about this till after a hour of trying I can't get the new/ second hand exhaust system on so I'm now stuck with no back box on and a little ****ed off as either way I'm gunna have to pay out to get it done
i usually find some good hits with a hammer breaks the joint followed by wd40 and wiggling.
my twin setup went on easy lol
It's cause it's a used exhaust I think where the clamp had been up so tight it's made the hole smaller I tried bending it out but have made a right mess of it I found it hard getting the reducer out of it so I had a feeling then unfortunately that was after I had taken mine off I'll have to take it in somewhere 2morro hopefully they can get it on
i used a socket and a hammer to adjust mine to fit properly
Exhaust on £30 garage said I'd never have got it on without lots of heat that I don't have access to at home pics will follow 2morro
