VXR rear bumper diffuser to std SRI bumper?

I've got a standard 06 plate SRi hatchback, is it worth fitting the VXR diffuser to the rear bumper when I haven't got the rear bumper skirt too as per VXR/XP2 models?

Does anyone have a picture of a VXR diffuser on std SRi bumper please? Metallic black bumper/car even better. I can get a diffuser for just over £30 delivered but if it doesn't look much better I might do some other mods instead.
