hewre you go "If, like me, you lose one touch window open/close overnight, sit in car with ignition on, lower each window, close window then hold button for three sconds once closed. Hey presto, one touch open/close reinstated."

It shows you have to do this in the Owner's Handbook. After disconnecting the battery, you need to teach the windows where the fully closed position is again. Just wind them down fully, then wind them up by keeping your finger on the button - and then keep it there for another 3 seconds. Now the one-touch raise and lower will work again.

If it's still forgetting it after you switch off, then you may have a wiring fault...

just tryed works until I turn of the power and still works after that but when I get out lock the car then come back and try again it has gone back to needing reseting by holing down the button. As well normally when you hold down the remote button to open the windows before you get in they still all go down but when you hold the button for them to go back up the drivers one stays down until you restart the car weired.

OK, so it sounds like it's a fault with the driver's side window only. At least that's a start. Whether it's a problem with the mechanism, motor, control electronics, relay or switch unit though - that's the issue!
