Default De-badged and left with stubborn glue - help

De-badged the griffen at the weekend and I've been left with some really hard glue.

With the help of Mark Evison we've tried to shift it with a machine polisher using autoglym tar remover and paint revenorator, it's faded slightly but won't budge completely

Left with a silhouette of the badge

    Any suggestions?

Assuming that all the glue has been removed , and what is left is the silouette itself left in the paint then the only option is to wet sand the surface with some 1500, and then 2500 wet and dry .
This should remove the silouette . Then polish out the sanding with something like 3M fast cut plus or farecia g3 .

    have you tried with Acetone?
    or toluene
but you have to be careful it can melt the plastic around the glue
or you can use some sanding paper or some kind of sharp tool
    those are all suggestions

Sorry, I should have been more specific, it's the rear griffen

Now I'm concerned taking wet and dry to it, I'm not that confident.

May just put a new badge back in!

    Any other suggestions?

    Cheers guys.
