Its a dilemma I would like to answer too sadly almost every tuned diesel 4 pot I have seen just sounds like a goose farting in the fog with most systems I have heard so far

Gazza4's system sounds like a spitfire mines actually sounds nice but I think it's restricting it with the 3 silencer boxes..

Not heard them in any detail Ray to be honest, I have listened to a few Golf TDi's over time that just sound absurd, so must have a wee listen as I would like to get a deep deep rumble if I could almost Scooby in tone?

Mines is deep with a nice whistle thru the pipes as the cats are removed
