    Default Blooming cars.......

What a day I've had. Got up sharpish this morning to take the car to the custom exhaust place to get it checked over. Arrive 20mins later than booked because of roadworks, However up on the ramp and it's confirmed, new flexi pipe needed....Fine £80 suppose that's not too bad. Make arrangements to go pick up the auto dim rear view mirror and some other goodies i've bought. Decide to go the back roads.....Enter a corner, nothing too silly 40mph or thereabouts and bang! Hit what I thought was a pothole, Turned out to be a tank trap! No chance of avoiding it, commited to the corner. First thought, uh-oh, this is going to be expensive. Steering wheel pointing off the one side and car is not a happy beast. Stop in the next village. Ouch, 19 inch snowflake has taken a dunt to the outside face as well as tearing a chunk out the tyre! Picked up the bits i'd bought, hit the garage, No apparent damage but can't get a ramp until tomorrow for a better look, Wheel looks repairable. So, to cheer myself up I fitted the mirror, illuminated visors, sun glasses holder and rear interior light. Now to tell the mrs the good news since we've just spent £240 on 4 boots for her corsa

Cheers raymie, Spoke to robert, He's going to square it up for £50 including painting it so I can't complain, just going to get all the wheels done since i was owed one done anyway. Can't get the sun visor retaining clips to go back in, pain in the back side
