depends what sort of house / flat you are after, and how near Aldershot you want to be.Also depends on your budget. As Tadpole has mentioned there are some nice places in the local area but a lot of it depends on how much you're willing to spend. Farnham is quite a nice old town but can be quite pricey.

There are plenty of built up Victorian terrace areas, but there are also large detached houses with plenty of ground, and at the moment the area is going through a bit of a renovation.

Camberley has just had quite a bit of work done in the town centre, but so has Farnborough, at the moment there are new flats being put up wherever there is a spare piece of land. Aldershot is just starting a large shopping development with cinema, shops and flats etc but to be honest the town itself is dying a slow death.

The paramedics are standing by with the defibulator, it won't be long before Aldershot flatlines.

Haha well we will only be renting to start but not heard encouraging things about it but it is cheap. What's ash vale like? We would like to be nearer guildford but have a budget of about 900 pcm max. Want a two bed house ideally.

I live in Ash which is pretty much the same as Ash Vale, thay are right next to each other.

I lived in Aldershot for 24 years of my life and moved to Ash about 15 years ago, to be honest Ash is a lot better despite only being 2 minutes down the road.

Also only a couple of minutes to the Hogs Back to get to Guildford
