Thumbs up National Tyres on ebay....

I have been hunting around for a new set of boots for the Signum. I had a tyre in mind and knew it was not going to be cheap but needed them fitted before friday as I have to head up to Manchester for the weekend and mine are rather worn.

I tried all the usual sites and weighed up the cost of getting them delivered and fitted somewhere at a convenient time and place for me.

I ended up buying them from the National Tyres ebay page... oddly the total cost was £30 cheaper via their ebay site than their own website.

Just anothersite for anybody to consider when you are looking for tyres, we all like to save money and time.

I bought two 'Goodyear Eagle F1 Aysmmetric 2' tyres as they are the latest and greatest to replace my current 'Goodyear Eagle F1 Aysmmetric' tyres that I have grown to greatly appreciate and recommend..

Also www.tyre-shopper.co.uk is associated with National tyres and are usually cheaper than National.

There the tyres I have Nige.....Cant fault them one bit. Had all 4 replaced a few months ago at Hi-Q at a fantastic price (staff discount). I paid over £20 less than it cost them to buy them in lol.

for those that do not know there will be a new tyre labeling system enforced next year (2012) which will in my opinion make it easier for us all to decide how good a tyre is and compare it to others. I think it will also make a few manufacturers get their act together..

Info on this new labeliing system can be found here >>>>>> http://www.goodyear.eu/uk_en/tire-ad...eu-tire-label/

Labels are fine when you actually see the tyre prior to fitting
What really should be included is a card that is included with the receipt
