Default 8v 1.9CDTi engine cover bolts

Gents I have been given the run around by the local vauxhall dealer with reference to the two hex bolts and rubber grommets holding the front of the engine cover on my 1.9 cdti 8v Vectra.
The guy on the counter was an idiot and tried telling me that they only get supplied with the cover, and then tried to sell me a new cover to the tune of £70, **** he also said try using elastic bands......mong.

All Im after is the two rubber grommets, can any one help.

You should be able to get the rubber grommets from scrap yard or you can check ebay as well.

The rubber grommets get 'rattled to death' in no time - mine were shot at 10k. It doesn't seem worth replacing them.

I'm sure that std electrical grommets could be squished into the hole. The hex bolts are just std M6/M8 bolts I imagine probably something like 20mm in length. - id replace them with those

Think this might be the part number you are after buddy :- 90412865

Not 100% certain though....... Made a note of the number before my Laptop went bang, but not got the parts catalogue on this (ancient) laptop to confirm.

Fingers crossed its the right one

Yep they are expensive for what they are. I replaced mine and the next time the car went into the garage the numpty mechanic knackered them again. grrr...

The parts are numbered 7 & 11 on the epc diagram above:

    11096061 20 48 981 SCREW, M6 X 18, COVER TO CYLINDER HEAD about £0.30 + postage from here
90412865 6 07 813 -BUSH, CYLINDER HEAD COVER CAP about £4.00 + postage from here

The big rubber bush that fits into the back of the cover and into the ball studs are (number 9 on the epc):
    24453627 58 50 765 -STUD, 9.9 MM DIA., COVER TO CYLINDER HEAD
