    Default fog lamp steamed up

since I changed my fog lamp bulbs my near side fog lamp always steams up.
I have removed the cover dried it out and checked the rubber seal, is there any thing I have missed that would cause water ingress, or is it another common fault..

Definately no cracks or chips in the plastic mate? They're in prime position for stone/debris damage, one of mine does this as it has a small chip/crack in it

Mine did this. Just removed and cleaned the back cover, so it made a good seal. Then drove with the fogs on for an hour to de-mist it. Now it's clear all the time

Its over spill water from your washer bottle mate, just drill a very small hole in the bottom of the cap and it will always drain out. Alternately you can buy a snorkel kit from VX to solve the problem but mine have been fine for the last 5 years with a small hole drilled in them.

Mine filled up with muddy water during the floods of last year.

I melted the small hole up and fitted a small bag of dessicant (moisture absorber) into the bottom of the cap instead. The sort of thing you get with new electrical goods, shoes and the like to help prevent moisture while being stored, etc.
