All mods declared and 30000 buisness miles a year and 2 years no claims(30%) and 3 speeding tickets = £986. I just remember what it was in the first year and keep praying i can get to year 4 with no claims so I can protect it.

Thats why I drive a V6, I needed to slow down. Hurrah the first one drops off in 2 weeks and the other 2 in March and back to a clean licence

We're with Chris Knott who claim they offer discount to club members and our club VXON promote them. When I questioned discount they just fob me off with the usuall we do good prices because they have some much buisess put their way from clubs blah blah blah. Anyway me as named driver & Mel the owner keeper fully comp with £250 excess I think was a little over £400.

Don't knowif you've done your insurance now Jamie as I see this thread's a few day old but there you go.

    In the same boat m8.

I'm EFAD ( Emergency Fire Appliance Driver ) trained to advanced status. Been driving the things for about 15 years. We get a refresher course every couple of years.

But insurance companies arent interested in emergency service qualifications, only civvy IAM' and suchlike, or so it would seem.
