    Default Another Insurance Moan!!!!!

Just got my renewal quote from Norwich Onion..... £605 with a £500 excess, no courtesy car and no personal injury cover!!!!!!!!

Phoned Adrian FLux and they will cover me for £413, £250 x/s and £150,000 PI cover!

No prizes for guessing who will be having my money this year!!!!!!!!!

Most insurance companies don't recognise my Police grade 1 advanced driving grade. But if I do a Civvie course and get a certificate (equivalent to a Police standard grade) they'll give me a discount. Figure that out.

I am very surprised at that.

So there isn't any companies offering special rates to Emergency Services then?

I think its a combination of the Post Code lottery and the fact that I've declared all of the mods on the car. I thought it would be a bit naughty if I didn't tell them everything when I'm currently building a case against someone for deception because they didn't tell their insurers about their mods!!!!

All mods declared plus Business Insurance for any driver, plus a slightly dodgy postcode = a little under £800. That's with Adrin Flux.

You guys should count yourself lucky.
