Annoying alarm!

Evening all, not sure weather this is in the right area, but unsure of the problem. my alarm keeps going off randomly, no set pattern or time to it, possibly happens more when it rains but not 100% sure. any ideas anyone?? my neighbours getting seriously peeved off with me!!

more than likely the rear side windows on these.... Think mine are on the way out too. Goes off every now and then... The elements break down which make the circuit up which round around the edge of the window... You can remove the sidepanels from the car find the connector and link them out. Should stop it going off IF thats the problem in your case...

check the plunger under the bonnet, up beside the OSF suspension turret.

To test that you can unplug it. That actually simulates it being closed believe it or not...

Another option could be an insect in the car - try disabling the interior sensor, and if the alarm stops, simply spray the interior with an insect repellant. I've had to do this twice in the Veccy and more often in the wife's Merc . . .
