rear number plate lights

hi guys i have just found a problem with my vectra the rear number plate lights have stopped working i changed my rear bumper about 2/3 weeks ago so i assume they havent worked since then what could be the fault i havent had a warning telling me my bulbs are not working.

Hi Bud,first job check bulbs ,if ok sounds like a wiring problem,check for live with a multimeter in the wireing harness
