    Default glass polishing ?

    any hints/tips on plishing my windscreen ? it has lots of minor scratches on it and you can see where the wipers have been working even after lots of washing , bought Mer glass cleaning cream to try tomorrow but just wondering if any you detailing guys got better suggestions .

    Good point, I remember in NZ years ago I had a product that I used with a kitchen scourer, it was a thin paste that was rubbed quite harshly on the glass to polish it, but I seem to remember it was largely used to remove minor abrasions and or any surface stains from grease/road spray/windscreen detergent etc. Seemed to remember it worked but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

    AG Car Glass polish. Works a dream if you work it in hard. Do about six inches square at a time.

    No smear afterwards. I swear by this product!

    To be honest you can't really get rid of scratches ( maybe minor ones) but wiper marks are not worth the hassle.
    Some places use a machine polisher with compound , but it's not easy to do , and can cause more damage if your not careful .
